I have a few pictures of my progress. The empenage is not glued to the fuselage yet.
I`ve increased the size of the H-stab and doubled up on the vertical thickness.
I am using balsa for the spar with glass tissue reinforcement on the dihedral join.
The canopy needs some fettling to fit.

  2. Looking good BB56 . The canopy I don't see the score in the front center of it, those front outside corners should be pulled in to meet with the canopy nose former.

There is a score there but it wouldn`t bend down, no problems I may build the new version.

Did you have much trouble with setting up the dihedral on the outer panel?

According to the online calcumalator the CoG at 15% static margin is 70 mm from the leading edge at the root.

In the series the US forces were disabled by a hacker to make way for the attack first. As far as I can remember only 2 were shot down in total, one by a manned .50 cal and one by a Stinger.

  19. Ooops, missed this post. It went together pretty smooth. I creased the bottom plate where it needs to bend , used a masking tape roll to use as a wedge to hold the center section up so I could lay the outer section flat on the table and then roll the top plate over.

I`m buttoning up the wing at the moment and it seems to be going quite well. I haven`t got to the dihedrals yet. Once I have the wing together it is going to be easier going.
I`ve got the esc`s in the wing and will cut some cooling vents.
I have all the extensions and battery leads soldered up so that is a major mile stone.
