  9. We are going to test it, I am staying scale and BB56 is going to scale his up and we will compare notes, or garbage bags. :D :D

  10. Started to assemble the vertical/horizontal, added some wedge pieces to the glue joint to give the structure a little more strength in that area but I will also be adding some struts to it like on the AN-2

  11. My epoxy bottles are just the right size to help form the lower cowls while the glue sets up. :) Just dry fitting the cowls a bit and looks like they should work so on go the bottom cowls. Next is to solder up some motor lead extensions fish them in and mount the motors . Then the upper cowls can go on. Also the aileron servos have to go in and wires run and then the wing is ready to install.

  12. Getting ready to roll the fuse on, coffee, check, cigarette, check, tape strips, check, full tube of glue, check. :)

    Jeff,
are those the standard 3d printed motor mounts that I have the stl files of?

  14. Yes they are, but you don't like plastic :D :D . But they are the same as our standard wood mounts if you want to go that way so fitment isn't a problem.

  15. Fuse is now rolled on, went pretty good just a lot of seams to glue all in one shot. ;) Canopy is also together to now.

That`s what I asked Jeff myself. He just doesn`t stop.
Because I am old I can`t do that anymore, along with some other things;)

They certainly are easier to have the printer make them, but you have to glue the screws so they don`t shake loose. No big deal really:)
