Do you unwrap it to a 2d shape? and print it on paper?
There is an Un rolling process . I am not the best person to ask because I am a beginner also. Rhino does have videos on U Tube you can watch which is where I learn new tricks.
Looks like much greater fun you're having there, Wildthing

Keeps me out of the wife's hair LOL
Well fuse is together, now to wedge fill it and get it sanded. Next to start on the wings, spars are built and ready.
The landing gear slot is just what I had in mind and if you`re lucky the landing gear will pop out of the slot in heavy landings and not cause too much damage to the air frame, which happens so frequently.
I thought you may have redesigned the the front end with a box like motor mount and design a 3D printed cowl
Nice thing about the wire landing gear there is a lot of suspension to it and worst case is it bends and then you just bend it back LOL.
No fancy cowl The foam one doesn't look that bad.
3d printed cowl like this?
and it has a near scale 'printed' ASh-62 9 cylinder radial inside it
A 950 kV out runner sits completely hidden inside the crankcase.
So far that's all there is!
That engine turned out really good.
2 wings with a little dihedral to them. Fuse is wedge filled and sanded. Horizontal is in a jig being glued to the vertical. Next to start running the plumbing for the rudder and elevator .
@quorneng see that 9 cyl engine , I printed it using transparent filament.
Thanks so much for the detailed info.
You are welcome
As I was looking at the front of the Annie, it reminded me of another favorite of mine, the Canadian built DHC-2 Beaver. What a wonderful plane It is pretty much a contemporary of the AN2 and does a very similar job but with half the passenger capacity.
That's because it is missing a wing.
All dry fitted together and it all seems to fit pretty good, couple extra little trims because of the scaling but otherwise all good.
Next the controls, I need to go find some more tiny plastic tubing to run the back control rod through.
I was going to say that
On the maiden flight did you use a 2200mha battery?
Where did it end up to get the CoG?
love the beaver on floats, shame theres no water round me,although there might be if it don't stop raining.
