  1. Well working on the outside foam, much easier then the inside :D . This will also give you a better idea that I was thinking of for my airfoils.

A simple solution to the wing thickness for people living in North America would be to use dollartree foam board with the paper left on and minwaxed.

  4. I was tempted to order a roll of that 1mm Depron from RC Foam , curious how it would be to work with for skinning planes. I experimented a bit with the BP and minwax and just didn't like it so all my minwax got used to recovering my work table. ;)

Yes the old brown paper deal is a real PITA. I don`t blame you for minwaxing your work bench :D
Have you seen the way Quorneng uses thin depron? He really is a master, if you have time look up his Concorde build from around four years ago.

  6. I know his builds are fantastic , he definitely puts a lot of time into the detail of the build.

  7. Well the wings are done, now to start on the inner structure, the fun tidiest part begins. ;)

  11. It will have a foam one in behind it also and if a person doesn't have a 3D printer they can always cut two foam ones and cut out 4 registers for tabs to glue on a standard wood mount. Once done the foam one will have the markings for a wood one on it and then just cut out the registers and cut 4 tabs to center it. .

  12. Well I think I am ready to start and try to roll it all out into plans, talk to you in about a week or so. ;)

  15. I think I will have to design some little mounts to add some small braces/struts for the horizontal
