I was doing some reading (yeah, like everybody else.) Looks like RealFlight 6 came out.

It is only $50, so I am interested in buying it, but I have some concerns... Will the Real Flight 4 through 5.5 models still load?

I don't want to give up KnifeEdge Forums etc. for finding new models.

The link you posted was for an upgrade - "Add the latest RealFlight advances to G4 through G5.5 simulators*!"

There's NO way any version of RF would be just $50...

That is a good question, it most likely still load the 4 through 5.5 models. They have in the past, why not now? Did you post this question on KnifeEdge Forums?

At half the price ($100), you still get the control with it. It's a good price for that simulator

Phoenix V4 is a cheaper, viable alternative. I got V3 with a DX5e controller for $160. Updates are free. After having V3 for several weeks, I was able to upgrade to v4.

Phoenix from my research always runs smoother than real flight, with less hardware (slower cpu) and no upgrade fees. Worth a look.
