Hi how long and how wide should your plane be

The RCPowers planes are fun size. They are big enough to not be bullied by the wind. They're are small enough to where they are easy to transport. The power system and building materials at this size are cheap. They are about 22x36x9 inches in size. And most weigh between 10 and 20 ounces fly weight. You can make an RC airplane any size you want. Any size you pick will have its benefits and problems.

Hello LukeWarm, could you please help me set up flaperons on my Hawk Sky?
I use a OrangeRX T-SIX transmitter,.. if that helps. (sorry I'm new to RC and forums, so I don't even know if I'm asking the right questions, or giving the right information to get help) :/

        typingtester
"Thrust vectoring, also thrust vector control or TVC, is the ability of an aircraft, rocket, or other vehicle to manipulate the direction of the thrust from its engine(s) or motor in order to control the attitude or angular velocity of the vehicle." -Wikipedia

Thrust vectoring is where you control the direction of the thrust.

Lukewarm, what is the point of a mixer and what are they?
      1. LukeWarm
        LukeWarm
        I use a mixer when I make a cake.
        Just kidding.
Channel mixing - this is when two separate channels are made to operate in conjunction with one another. For example, you could program an aileron and rudder mix whereby the rudder automatically moves a set amount when the ailerons are deflected. Or you could have elevators automatically drop when flaps are activated. Some transmitters have built in mixers

lukewarm, can I make an extra 300 with 1/2 in. foam polystyrene instead of depron?
      1. LukeWarm
        LukeWarm
Yes but it is a lot of extra work, you will have to carve it down and shape it and reinforce it.

Hey lukewarm I've been looking at rc planes for a while because my brother and i want to start rc. Do you have any suggestions on what plane we should get. I've looked at the wild hawk, sky surfer, and the hawk sky but they are always out of stock. Are there any great ready to fly planes that are usually in stock that you know of. Thank you for your time

Hey Luke - I am having a problem with Hobby Partz. I ordered batteries and a charger from them in the begining of May. They charged my card and then sent me an emial stating the parts were not in any more. I have emailed them for the refund and they have not refunded. Just thought you might want to tell the pwers that be and have them pulled from the recommendation parts list.
      1. LukeWarm
        LukeWarm
A lot of this parts places are slow to fix problems, when Hobby Partz runs out of a part, it goes on backorder and you go on a waiting list. If you requested a refund, you just through another wrinch in there works. Be patient, They want you to be happy and buy from them again.

I just built the mig 29 v2 and set it up with the two servos and hooked the ailerons into the same sevos as the elevators. And use the elevon mix. will this work?

Do you remember a post about not scoring the bend line but squcshing it with a v roller, then bending it.
It was in a post about the outer apperance of the score and bend line. My memory is gone.

      Thanks Luke.
BTW the reason I asked for all the shops again is I recruited 5 of my friends to build planes now after they saw mine and saw it fly (or crash lol)
